Dominique Bellens is Belgian and Senegalese at heart. She lives in Flanders, the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium, with her sons Babacar and Cheikh Ibra Sow.
Her career began in 1989 as an office employee at BNP Paribas Fortis, the largest Belgian bank. Over the course of her career, she became responsible for SME credits, a trainer and teacher in risk analysis, and the agency director of a regional office.
She is therefore well-versed in the ins and outs of a large company.
After 26 years in banking, she decided to leave the bank and pursue entrepreneurship, guiding SMEs and independent entrepreneurs in the fields of strategy and human resources.
In parallel, she pursued training as a consultant, coach, and energy therapist. These trainings supported her personal development and provided her with tools to guide the human being behind the employee, entrepreneur, and manager.
In Belgium, she guides entrepreneurial women towards emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being in order to shape their lives from a place of tranquility. Old thought patterns, emotional blockages, fears, and limiting beliefs are released so that each woman can stand in her power.
She considers this work to be her mission.
In Senegal, she established a psychological, mental, and emotional wellness center for women: Tawféex í Jigéen. The center organizes activities such as personal coaching, group workshops, movement (dance, pilates…), wellness, and health… that support women in fulfilling their important role in Senegalese society.
Dominique has joined Digital.in on projects to support women towards emotional and mental well-being, helping them make the most of their life experiences.
